Work Experience

• As an Operations cum Marketing and Booking Intern, I work alongside 7 student interns to manage and co-facilitate DiDsg programmes with our blind colleagues. 

• Operational responsibilities include:

  • Co-facilitating DiDsg’s programmes with blind colleagues, conducting activities for participants at the centre, and liaising with various stakeholders of DiDsg.

• Marketing & Communications responsibilities include: 

  • Brainstorm and curate content that will continue to promote the presence of DiDsg as a company, and keep it up to date 

  • Liaise with various stakeholders on DiDsg’s social media platforms 

  • Perform ad-hoc marketing content where necessary

• Booking & Finance responsibilities include: 

  • Liaise with clients and various stakeholders through email, hotline and instant messaging platforms to ensure smooth scheduling of their programmes 

• As a member of the student-run agency, I was able to explore roles like Accounts, Creative, Art, Content and Tech Lead. 

• Self-sourced, we worked with clients like Homies Bakery, Hundred Acre Creamery, and Ramdas and Wong. More notably, the small team of 12 students worked with Singapore Civil Defence Force on a UX design project for their MyResponder app. 

• All the payments made by our clients were donated to NP’s Student Aid fund, where we raised a total of $5,420.

• With each project, I was able to try out different scopes of work, and further my skills as a designer and media practitioner.

• As a side project, I aided a start-up company, Coffee Wisdom in their marketing efforts to make their business more well known to the local audience.

• We were able to successfully publish an IG Reel that garnered over 1K views from a vast range of audiences. 

• Additionally, I conceptualised printed designs that were aimed at attracting more attention from potential consumers on site. 

• My responsibilities as a part-time sales advisor included providing customer service to customers on the selling floor, cashiering, stock preparation and tidying the selling floor for an easy shopping experience. 

In this role, I worked with my friend to provide social media marketing assistance to the Principal of DancEdge Academy. 

• We conceptualised and curated content for the dance studio, as well as planned events to promote the classes at the studio.

• As a part-time service crew member at the company, I worked with my colleagues to produce quality beverages for customers. Alongside this, we provided customer service and managed stocks of our products at the outlet.
