Here are some of the works that I completed during my internship at DiDsg, as well as freelance/volunteer work that I did during my academic semesters.

DiD You Know? - Inclusive Theatre Experience

After attending an inclusive theatre project put together by Republic Polytechnic students, I thought it would be a good topic to speak about and spread more information on.

Therefore, I took the lead on this post and thoroughly researched the concept of inclusive theatre experience, as well as how we can bridge the gap.

Stories in the Light with Hidayat

Stories in the Light is one of the many series that DiDsg’s marketing has. For this series, we interview our blind guides to hear more about their journeys as visual impaired individuals in the community.

Sharing their struggles and eventual growth, this series aims to provide encouragement and motivation for our audience to keep going!

DiD You Know? - Sports That Blind People Play

After speaking with one of our blind guides, Liana, who shared with us about her dragon boating journey as a visually impaired. I got inspired to do a post on sports that blind people play! Most individuals who are involved in the community know that blind people can take part in various sporting activities like tandem cycling, bowling, swimming and running. However, dragon boating seemed a fresh and interesting angle, thus we spread more information on it!

Light Up the Dark - Nick Vujicic

Light Up The Dark is a series that Batch 27’s marketing team occasionally uses as a buffer post in cases where we are too busy to complete content heavy posts.

This series shares inspirational quotes from individuals with and without disabilities, and aims to motivate the audience to be persistent and not give up.

For this post, I created a post using a quote by Nick Vujicic, a disabled motivational speaker born without limbs.

DancEdge Academy Singapore -
Youth Passion Project

By youths for youths, this event was initiated by my friend and I in October 2021. During a bout of submission period stress, we brainstormed a dance event that would allow young dancers to grow in a safe space and learn from their peers!

Planning and executing the event was my first taste of social media marketing, as well as event planning. From then on, I decided that I enjoyed marketing and wanted to continue exploring this sector.
