ABOUT ME

Hi, here’s the first thing you should know about me - I’m shy at first glance, but friendly and oddly humorous at heart. Once you know me you will never be able to escape this chatterbox! 🙊

 

With an affinity for writing, storytelling was a natural calling for me. Coming up with creative concepts to portray real and inspired stories was what led me to Mass Communication. 

 

Venturing through various sectors of media in Mass Communication has provided me with quality exposure, but it was at Dialogue in the Dark Singapore where I realised that storytelling was the one thing I would love to do forever. 

 

Hence, I have made it a goal of mine to challenge the status quo and build a more inclusive media industry, an accessible one at that, for those who are visually impaired. 

 

I believe in inculcating a sense of empathy and a society of inclusivity for those who are disabled, for them to be able to enjoy the daily entertainment that us abled individuals do. With my skills in marketing, graphic design and production, I hope to be able to explore the creative and structural possibilities to help progress the media industry to become gradually more inclusive. 

 

As my personal motto goes: “Constant progression, not perfection”, which I will use as the driving force behind all I aim to pursue and achieve!
